Howden

Howden’s range is extensive and covers nearly all pressure and vacuum applications. It encompasses the full range of blowers previously manufactured by Dresser Roots.

The range starts with the dual lobe Universal RAI which is available for mounting horizontally or vertically, with dual splash lubrication and or set up for use with gases. The smallest size can deliver as little as 25cfm and the range goes up to 1,476cfm, with many pressure/volume options in between.

For larger more arduous applications the RAM range is ideally suited, these can also feature the significantly quieter WHISPAIR air jet technology. The RAM X and truck-mounted Tri-Nado feature tri-lobe technology.

The range continues into pumps specifically for truck applications or very large pumps for industrial applications. ‘Roots’ or supercharger-type lobe blowers are used in a wide variety of industries across NZ, including water treatment, pneumatic conveying, food manufacturing, aeration, transporting powder, sucker trucks, dairy plants, flour mills, cement plants, etc.

The Howden Universal RAI Roots Blowers range is the perfect HD cost effective industrial range. We stock a wide range from the 22 URAI up to the 711 URAI. We also carry a full range of spares and accessories.

Howden also have an extensive range of enclosures (to minimise sound), tri lobe blowers, truck blowers, vacuum blowers and massive industrial blowers. Including the following Howden (Dresser Roots) models: URAI, RAM J, RAM DPJ, RCS, Tri-Nado, RBTM, DVJ, VJ, RGS and VJ2.

Also available are centrifugal compressors with flows up to 300,000 cfm.
